Last night,(Sat.,Nov. 10, 2007) our grandaughter Yasmine Griffin opened in
"The Sound of Music" with Plano Community Theater.
Yasmine and her mother, Beverly's daughter Shannon live
with us and have since before she was born. She
played the role of Gretl, the youngest of the Von Trapp
children. At six she was the youngest member of the
cast. This was Yasmine's first major role, even through
she has been working with Plano Children's Theater
now for two years. She did a superb job and we were
very proud. She has four performances over the next two
weeks. Plano Community Theater has been bringing the
excitement and drama to young people in and around
Plano since 1991.
